Network Engineer

FPSG are proudly working in partnership with a large global organisation that are known to be the leader within their field. Due to the extensive growth of the business, we are supporting with the recruitment drive to add a highly experienced Network Engineer to the team in Lancashire.

You will be tasked with managing and maintaining the companies network, whilst delivering engineering projects and supporting the business through all advances issues.

The Role

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network architecture and hardware.
  • Designing and implementing network equipment.
  • Performance Monitoring and diagnosing .
  • Design, write and update all documentation.
  • Creation of security measures.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers.
  • Carry out regular network tests.

About You:

  • 5 years working experience in Firewalls and LAN/WAN networks
  • Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, JUNOS, and IOS.
  • Working knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers.
  • Exposure to communication and routing protocols.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • High level of communications, both written and verbal.
  • Analytic thinker with good problem solving skills.
  • Skilled in time, priority, and task management
