Operations Manager

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum plus bonus, company car/car allowance, and pension.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

As an Operations Manager at Veolia, you will oversee the day-to-day transport operation of our commercial waste depot and have a key focus on ensuring our customers are receiving first-class customer service.

What will you be doing?

• Ensuring health and safety remains the number one priority within the transport operation.
• Assisting the Business Manager to achieve the depot’s budgeted profit & loss by working with the local sales team and managing resources of the depot.
• Overseeing the continuous improvement in recycling.
• Ensuring that all regulatory requirements and fleet are adhered to, in line with operator licence requirements.
• Reviewing customer KPIs to improve vehicle efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Managing the transport staff by role-modelling Veolia’s values to create a high-performance culture.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in managing transport staff.
• CPC in National Road Haulage.
• IOSH.
• Commercial waste experience is desirable.
