We're looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated experienced leader to work within the Older Persons Medicine Care Group providing senior support, supervision and leadership within the Medicine and Urgent Care Division.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible in your approach, and a passion to work in a highly paced environment with the ability to prioritise.

The role gives ample opportunity for interaction with a wide variety of staff within the department and the wider Trust both maintaining and creating valuable relationships and self development.

Central to the role is your ability to people manage and your focused involvement in ensuring we deliver the best care for all our patients.

This is a very busy demanding department and you will be expected to prioritise your own workload, have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as work within the team.

Working closely within the Senior Management team you would be at time required to represent the interests of the Older Persons Medicine and Stroke teams at a variety of meetings.

Working together and being part of a dedicated team is essential in ensuring the patient experience is at the forefront of everything we do.

This post is demanding, challenging and very rewarding. Working hours are full time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
