Job Description :

The role of the Operations Support Manager in Studios, Sky Sports is to support & develop the people functions in one of our studio crafts.
Reporting into the Senior/Team Manager and working alongside Craft Team Leaders, this role will apply strong leadership skills to provide clear direction and a consistent approach to our line management and team development planning.
This is a key role that will strive to continually improve our team & individual development, and engagement with a clear strategy that supports our current and future operations.
You will also work closely with the Technical Specialists within the relevant craft to ensure a cohesive approach between excellent operational delivery and people support.
There are multiple roles available across the teams line managers.
What you'll do:
  • Working alongside the Technical Specialist you will be responsible for day-to-day performance and line management in one of our studio crafts.
  • Lead and align the overall team development plan to support the needs of the content we deliver.
  • Deliver effective performance reviews and personal development plans.
  • Establish a clear structure for succession planning and future career pathways.
  • Deliver a recruitment strategy that ensures our team has the skills and expertise to continuously deliver our content, whilst crafting a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Have a clear understanding of demand and future requirements to assure our Resources are accurately matched to each Production
  • Ensure the Health & Wellbeing of our people remain a priority in our day-to-day operations
  • Promote and encourage inquisitive behaviour to ensure our team continues to evolve and innovate.
  • Energise all forms of our communication to strengthen morale and engagement in the team.
  • Instil a sense of community by building trust, through inclusion and transparency around decision making.
  • Celebrate and recognise the work and achievements that our team deliver.
  • Work with our H&S Practitioner & the Technical Team Leader to complete and update Craft Risk Assessments.
