Due to the expansion of our clinical services we have a full-time (37.5 hours/week) role available for enthusiastic Ophthalmic Science Practitioners to join our expanding Ophthalmic Imaging team within the Department of Ophthalmology at Queen's Medical Centre campus.

If you are an enthusiastic, highly motivated clinician, with good communication skills and the ability to be adaptable to the changing needs of the department, this role is an opportunity to work in a large teaching hospital with a varied caseload which will include participation in a range of service provision.

The successful candidate will need to hold a BSc in Photography or have equivalent clinical experience to enable delivery of the requirements of the role.

The post holder will be required to work various shifts to support the needs of the service. This includes working weekdays, weekends, bank holiday days and varying hours with the earliest start time at 7.00am and the latest finish at 8.00pm. The initial working pattern is anticipated at one evening clinic per week and one Saturday per month.
