Job Description :

We’re so happy you want to join us on our journey!

At Booking.com, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world. We began by taking hotel bookings online over 20 years ago, and we’ve been crafting the travel industry ever since. Today, we’re building a platform that connects all parts of the trip – from accommodation to transport, tickets, tours, and more.

Meet the Team

The Accommodations Business Unit (ABU) is the largest business unit at Booking and plays a vital role in the company’s success. It has many dependencies, including having shared critical metrics and processes and working closely with other Business Units and Functions.

About the role

In this role, you will sit within the Business Development - Performance Marketing team, supporting all the joint strategic areas of ABU and Performance Marketing, being responsible for researching, analyzing, identifying, and jointly delivering growth opportunities for those areas.

You will work closely with internal and external partners, driving new insights and working with them on how to apply them to deliver a great customer experience, with a performance marketing lens, from the initial idea draft, project management, and supporting execution.

Therefore, we’re looking for someone who has phenomenal experience in stakeholder management, amazing analytical skills, solution-oriented skills with both attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture.

Our Booking.com value of “Learn Forever” is intrinsically ingrained in this role and team, being a must when handling so many products, features, and teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead/own projects from start to finish: research, identify, prioritize, gain consensus, coordinate and measure the results.
  • Use data to identify and prioritize work that drives value, transplanting data into ideas and tactics.
  • Handle the collaborations with partners from across the company, both for BU requests, and when identifying new opportunities.
  • With the team, brainstorm and develop creative solutions for performance optimization, taking into consideration opportunities relevant to marketing, product, and supply that can positively impact our customers' experience.
  • Evaluate the performance of current business operations and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business goals; chip in to improving existing processes and build new thoughtfully designed ones to streamline ways of working.
  • Develop and apply various frameworks to bring structure to complex issues and break down problems
  • Handling and influencing colleagues and external partners at all levels of the organization, including senior management
  • Communication of the project updates, insights and recommendations across all stakeholders
Ensure a project closing and correct handover to Business as Usual.

What you’ll bring:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent
  • Tech-savvy
  • Strong technical skills (Excel, SQL/BQ)
  • Knowledge and experience using data analysis and visualization tools (Google Data Studio)
  • Highly analytical and able to find opportunities
  • At least 4+ years of in-depth and hands-on PPC/SEM experience at a global scale
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to lead multiple low/medium complexity projects or portfolios of projects

It would be excellent if you have:

  • Attention to detail while keeping an eye on the bigger picture
  • Enjoy using data to make decisions and possess strong analytical skills
  • Open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve your own performance
  • Demonstrating strong ownership, stakeholder management and prioritization skills.
  • Solid business operations and project management skills/experience
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Strong problem solving and root cause identification skills

In return, we’ll provide:

  • Working in Cambridge, the city of academic knowledge and punting.
  • Training, regular opportunities to travel and attend global conferences,
    Discount on Booking.com accommodations with the “Booking Deal” including other perks and benefits;
  • Company-sponsored social activities to help our employees become integrated with each other and our culture.
  • Diverse, unique colleagues from every corner of the world.
