About the us and our team…
The Chief Data & Analytics Office sits within the Group Chief Operating Office (GCOO) and we make it our mission to Enable business strategies through data. We are a fast growing area with significant investment.
We are looking to recruit an additional Personal Assistant (PA) to join our support team who support our leadership team to help them focus on achieving our data strategy goals. You will have the responsibility of diary management and PA duties to two directors within the Chief Data & Analytics Office.
You’ll join a team comprising of two SBSA supports for our head of functions, two PAs for our executive population and led by the Executive Assistant for the Chief Data & Analytics Officer. This will make it a great opportunity to learn more about working in an executive office as well as broadening exposure to data & analytics if this is something of interest.
The role of a PA ...
As a PA you’ll perform the following activities:
- Complete standard and non-routine administrative tasks for leadership and give colleagues advice on processes.
- Delivers support services, mostly of a routine nature, by using customer systems and protocols.
- Creates, organises and maintains files for correspondence and records.
- Prepares moderately complex documents by using multiple computer applications (such as Microsoft Office), while also gathering and summarising data for reports.
- Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities.
- Uses the internal communications system to access required information for specific purposes.
- Follows existing procedures and precedents in determining the correct course of action for routine functional enquiries.
- Accomplishes work objectives by determining own work schedule, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary

Here's what we need from you...
The role will suit an executive support, personal assistant, or someone willing to learn with 1-2 years of work experience. In particular, you’ll need to have:

An understanding of the Office 365 suite particularly focused around Outlook, PowerPoint & MS Word

Excellent interpersonal skills with experience going above and beyond (…and maybe thinking outside the box!) to support customers or colleagues achieve the outcomes they need

Experience working and communicating in a high performing team
