The Role…
Reporting to the eCommerce Photography Manager, we are looking for a creative Still Life/Interiors Photographer who is confident working with continuous lighting to execute all aspects of photography in our new inhouse studio in Nuneaton shooting the Soho House retail brands of Soho Home, Cowshed & Soho Skin.
Main Duties…
- Shoot all eCommerce imagery in the studio for the Soho House brands to a high standard that accurately represents each product and their USP's, in adherence with set guidelines.
- Be confident in your ability to follow and translate creative briefs set by management when shooting any ad hoc creative shoots in the studio.
- Prepare sets, checking that all equipment is functioning and maintain a clean, tidy and efficient studio working environment.
- Make clear and detailed notes on imagery for the Retoucher in agreed formats to minimise any confusion or delays.
- Work closely alongside the Studio Assistant to ensure daily studio shoot lists are completed on time and product is moved safely on and off set, and product remains undamaged.
- Accurately naming all assets and maintaining an archive to allow for fast and efficient file locating.
- Show a keen interest in developing and broadening your skills, researching new photographic technologies and coming forward with suggestions for any workflow improvements.
Requirements / Qualifications...
- A strong portfolio of Still Life and/or Interiors Photography
- Detailed knowledge of photographic techniques and lighting
- Proven experience working to tight deadlines
- Confident problem solving technical issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Experience with Canon Cameras, Continuous Lighting, Capture One and Helicon Focus
- Experience shooting Video a plus
