Job title: Product Support – Master Data

Location: Remote working with occasional travel to Glascoed, South Wales

What you’ll be doing:

• Respond to End User queries regarding Master Data activities in a timely manner
• Continuous Improvement activities to existing Master Data processes and toolsets production & delivery of CM training and training material
• Assist with the processing of Engineering change notes, advising key stakeholders on their status and next steps to ensure timely completion
• Manage SAP Change Requirements, via Material Masters, Bills of Materials, Routings etc and ensure up to date documentation has transferred successfully
• Extract Data from the Engineering Teamcenter toolset to report on current status of changes
• Regular team meetings to review and discuss the department workload, highlighting and recording status changes, and any relevant issues/holdups
• Provide support when necessary to business activities outside the Master Data Function

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• IT literate and the ability to interpret data

• Conversant with MS Office Suite

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate at all levels

Desirable:

• Business Awareness and Munitions Product knowledge

• Technically competent with SAP & Teamcenter

The Land Product Support team:

BAE Systems Land UK is proud to equip the British Armed Forces and international customers with a range of munition products, from small arms ammunition through to heavy artillery, tank ammunition, warheads and payloads. This is a key role in supporting Product Master Data processes across our Manufacturing Support Functions. As Product Support – Master Data, you will be responsible for supporting a small team responsible for creating & maintaining manufacturing data from an engineering definition through the use of business system tools.
