About the role and the team

We are searching for a Project Manager to manage a team of professionals that are provide trauma informed mental health support to 7 vulnerable young people (aged 18-24). The appointed candidate will work on a full-time (37.5 hours), permanent basis.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the service delivers excellent and continuously improving performance, and exceeding contract requirements with a powerful positive impact on outcomes for clients.

You will also work in close partnership with local mental health services including CAHMS, MH hospitals, GP services and the commissioner.

Please note that the working hours can be flexible and will be dependent upon the needs of the service including evenings and weekends, although it is envisaged the usual hours will be Monday to Friday.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Safeguarding procedures are followed and managed appropriately, reporting any relevant issues in accordance with project procedures in a timely manner.
  • Leading the process of continuous improvement for the service in accordance with Depaul UK’s annual project review and year planning cycle.
  • Work in the therapeutic framework of and continue to develop the psychologically informed environment.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of service delivery offer high standards that make young people feel welcome, safe, supported and involved and that the service is managed in accordance with contractual requirements and achieves continuous improvement on outcomes for young people.

About you

You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.

  • Experiencing of supervising the work of others
  • Knowledge of managing and working in Mental Health Accommodation Projects
  • Experience of using Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Experience of operating safeguarding requirements and procedures
