Building on our long history of effective partnership and system working in health and care across the Suffolk & North East Essex (SNEE) Integrated Care System (ICS), we have an exciting opportunity to be involved in something exceptional to assist in transforming the way we work.

We are seeking 3 experienced project support officers to support a unique programme of work across our ICS which includes all our partners in health, care, and affiliated organisations to secure better outcomes for the citizens we serve.

Working within the SNEE ICS Digital, Data and Technology PMO Team and supporting the Digital Transformation programmes across our ICS including Shared Care Records and Digitising Social Care Records, we have strengthened our relationships between health, local government, and wider partners to enable transformation to occur in a framework of collaboration and trust.

With stable foundations now in place there exists an exciting opportunity for 3 project support officers to join our team and work towards our established vision. They will support the transformational work already underway which is being undertaken across several partners.

The 3 roles will support the Programme Coordinators and the wider team to provide transformation, project coordination and benefits analysis to ensure that work streams are planned and managed effectively and will assist in the successful delivery of key delivery areas within the ICS.

  • Support the ICS Digital, Data and Technology Team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed, and delivered effectively
  • Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications, and stakeholder management
  • Research and draft correspondence and papers and ensure the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions, and projects
  • Be a key member of the team and support effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally with a range of organisations and individuals
  • Development and maintenance of portfolio & projects documentation
  • Administer the required governance that supports the portfolio and projects
  • Plan and support events and project meetings
  • Support project and programme risks, issues, and exceptions management
  • Support the Digital, Data and Technology PMO office with ad hoc tasks as allocated by the PMO manager
  • Develop and maintain working relationships within own and other departments to facilitate an effective service
  • Use judgement to deal with a range of complex non routine problems that may arise, and only exceptionally refer very complex issues to the appropriate person. Routinely investigate and analyse a variety of complex issues and propose and implement solutions.
  • Responsible for formal records of meetings and the creation of action plans and implementation of any required action
  • Provide a broad range of business administration relevant to the appropriate area, to support financial, performance and quality targets ensuring that urgent matters are actioned and escalated without delay
  • Give guidance, support and empathetic approach to any complaints or concerns raised. Investigate complaints and identify and implement any remedial action required, liaising with the relevant clinicians to resolve
  • Support the development of standing operating procedures, departmental guidelines, and policies which may impact on the department and ICS and Trust. This may involve working with other internal or external partners
  • Carry out research, analyse and interpret data from a range of sources to inform business cases and service developments
  • Responsible for gathering any data for audit research purposes
  • Undertake any other business administration duties as may be delegated.
