Purpose of Role

This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, and who is familiar with the manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring our products meet our high quality standards. You will report on any quality concerns, and report errors to ensure mistakes are not repeated. You will also manage the inspection team and make sure they are working effectively and on time.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage return requests within the inspection team
• Ensure reports are completed, detailing any errors with the returns or if they can be returned to stock for resale
• Manage change note requests, ensuring all changes that influence the quality control of products are managed effectively
• Responsible for ensuring all products meet our Quality standards and strive to achieve first time pass rate.
• Support production operatives with any quality concerns they might have or with technical advice throughout the manufacturing process.
• Ensure all product labeling, QC packs, QCS documents and AHU plaques are completed on time and are consistent across all product ranges.
• Record and report on errors and quality concerns
• Attend daily dispatch meetings and communicate effectively with all departments ensuring all data is correct and accurate.
• Manage the inspection teams’ daily activities, ensuring everyone is clear on expectations and targets

• Work in line with the Capacity Reservations and ensure all hours are posted correctly and on time
• To follow all other reasonable requests made by your Team Leader / Manager
