The Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Centre (JEWOSC) is unit within the Joint CEMA Group (JCG) which is a crucial part of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) as a provider of strategic defence intelligence to the department and the armed forces. The JEWOSC provides timely electronic warfare intelligence products assessments and advice which protect our armed forces and support the UK’s military operations. We need a Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team to help in the delivery of that operational support.
Based at RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire, you will perform quality related tasks ensuring the compliance of quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions, and contributing to the development of company procedures. The QSC will be a key enabler in the delivery of the JEWOSC’s future vision.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Develop and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) including quality control procedures in accordance with ISO9001:2015
Conduct periodic review of the suitability and adequacy of governance and assurance of the QMS; securing applicable approvals and the initiation of vital actions.
Provide bi-monthly update reports and quarterly presentations to the Management Board on the health of the QMS and compliance status. Advice and influence the JEWOSC command group with regard to quality risks, opportunities and challenges. Additional ad hoc management and quality review briefings to be provided as required.
Ensure the provision of quality awareness training to personnel and embed a positive change culture through the provision of Continuous Improvement resource and activity.
Conduct analysis of Quality non-conformity, trends and audit findings in order to generate tailored improvement strategies, assurance and audit activity to high risk areas.
Act as primary quality liaison point of contact with the higher headquarters personnel at JCG and external contacts, inc RAF Waddington.
