You will acquire new skills and experiences which you can share with other interns across our Global intern community. We strive for a diverse and fun workplace, where all of us feel like the work we do makes a difference.
Nasdaq will invest in your development, introducing you to senior leaders, offering you a mentor and participating in professional development activities. Career acceleration is core to Nasdaq's culture; our intention is to offer our interns opportunities to stay on beyond the summer, either in a part time role parallel to your studies or for your master thesis fellowship. All of Intern roles are paid roles.
In our 2023 Summer Internship, we have several openings within this area and in different divisions such as:
  • Anti-Financial Crime (London)
  • Market Platforms (Stockholm, Umeå and Vilnius)
  • European Market Service (Vilnius)
In London we are looking for an intern that is interested in research, to join our Anti-Financial Crime team.
What you will bring:
  • Studying in a masters or PhD program with a strong research focus either in social science, data science, economics, business or finance. Graduating in 2024.
  • Curiosity and interest in technology, finance, financial crime, behavioural science or behavioural analytics paired with strong qualitative and/or quantitative research skills.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate closely with your team and other stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Contribution to our Nasdaq culture and values.

It would be great if you have:
  • Experience conducting research and analysis in real-world settings.
  • Some experience using R or Python for data analysis.
What Nasdaq can offer:
  • A collaborative, dynamic and constantly evolving work environment where you will be recognized for your results and contribution.
  • You will get hands-on experience working on complex projects.
  • Opportunity to work across departments and learn how to deliver excellence in an entrepreneurial culture.
  • You’ll play a key role in helping us drive our corporate strategy- embracing our innovative technology, information analytics, and marketplace strengths.
  • You will be a part and learn from a European internship community and build connections/network years to come.

This role is at our London office, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, in the heart of City of London. Around 190 employees from across different Nasdaq teams currently work together in sales as well as developing Nasdaq's tech.
