Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Are you process driven with experience in scheduling and real-life data? As a Resource Scheduling Analyst, you will meet forecast demand requirements and profiles by producing optimal roster patterns, shrinkage profiles and flexibility of hours to manage the variance within requirement due to demand and supply fluctuation.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the wider resource planning team and operational management teams to ensure resources are utilised as planned and respond if this is not the case in an agreed and controlled way.

What will I be doing?

You will be working with Virtual Real Time Team, Operational Team Managers and Customer Service Managers is essential, so that any service issues are highlighted, recommendations made, and targets achieved through sensible negotiation and prioritization across the operation.

  • Producing schedules for all staff across all areas, using appropriate systems, skills and knowledge which meet customer demand in the most cost-effective manner while taking account of individual preferences and agreements
  • Ensuring all amendments (pre-planned or ad-hoc indirect activity) are agreed and added to the daily plan to ensure accuracy of data and customer service is maintained, whilst ensuring impact on the daily and weekly plan is fully understood and minimized
  • Managing optimal full-time/part-time balance and maintenance of appropriate team sizes and management ratios
  • Developing current working practices and methodologies to improve the scheduling proposition
  • Taking accountability for the accuracy of information within, and used for schedule production, including WFM system, staff database
  • Gaining buys in from all interested parties to an agreed set of processes to fairly manage all requests for offline time so this can be managed in a cost effective and timely manner to deliver optimum schedules
  • Working with HR, recruitment, training, and Operational managers to identify any gaps in service delivery and resolve through appropriate means

  • Understanding of scheduling methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationship across reporting boundaries
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Proactive and results orientated
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
