We are recruiting for Retail Assistants to work five days a week and zero hours contracts at Tate Modern and Tate Britain.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team to deliver a world-class shopping experience. You understand everything that goes into creating a magical experience on the shop floor – including replenishment, cash handling, housekeeping and teamwork.
  • Providing exceptional customer experience by building rapport, engaging with our customers and responding to their needs.
  • Stock management including unloading and unpacking deliveries of new and replenished stock, maintaining displays and carrying out stock counts.
  • Processing transactions from pocket money items to limited edition prints.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, in an everchanging environment you know the key to success is adaptability and a positive outlook.

  • You have experience of working on a till and can confidently and accurately handle money

About the Role:

  • You must be able to work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and some additional weekdays that may vary
  • These vacancies will be fixed term until September 2023 at Tate Modern and Tate Britain
  • The role involves working delivery shifts that includes unloading, moving and unpacking stock
  • You will be expected to work occasional evening and early morning events
