We are looking for an energetic and highly motivational Retail Regional Manager to join us in the UK to lead a portion of our store managers to sucess. The primary responsibility of our Regional Managers, through a people focussed approach, is to maximise the profitability and sales performance of our stores and to provide a service that supports the delivery and growth of business objectives. This is a field based role covering the North of the UK that will require regular travel across the UK and at times the wider EMEA region, ideally you will be based north of Sheffield to ensure accessibility to your stores.

THE GIG

  • Play a pivotal role in cultivating a great working environment within the region, always ensuring your teams well-being is at the heart of decision making.
  • Play a key role in new store set up making use of your knowledge of the UK market and region.
  • Build & recruit new store management teams, embed and induct them within the Dr. Martens brand, and continue their development on-going to create pipelines for future succession.
  • Train, develop and coach your store managers to deliver against company KPI’s.
  • Maximise profitability and sales performance within the region, supporting delivery and growth in line with business objectives working closely with the Head of Retail, Retail operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance and HR.
  • Work closely with the Planner and Analyst to identify store trends and take actions around best/poor sellers.
  • Take full accountability and control of the regions P&L, forecasting and budget including setting and managing the regions payroll effectively.
  • Manage and implement efficient operational processes & best ways of working creating a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on excellence always aiming to elevate retail standards.
  • Provide day to day operational support for retail stores on all aspects of business, processes, and systems where needed.
  • Be customer focussed and use your passion for retail and customer experience to influence the delivery within stores in your region.
