Retail Systems Services Logistics Engineer
The Retail Systems Services (RSS) Logistics Engineer is one of the key roles within the RSS team, supporting Harrods business objectives by coordinating the movement of POS equipment across the estate, both at Knightsbridge and our external sites.
About The Role
Based in our Knightsbridge store, the RSS Logistics Engineer will be onsite and work closely with the RSS Logistics coordinator, RSS engineers and other IT and business teams.
The RSS Logistics Engineer will be responsible for streamlining and documenting existing business processes and be expected to propose enhancements to these processes and the systems that support them. They will also develop informative/actionable relevant KPI reports for key stakeholders and analysis metrics about the service, for the Retail Systems Services Manager.
About You
We are looking for someone with demonstrable customer-facing IT support experience and hands-on knowledge of configuring and managing POS and SAP systems. Our ideal candidate will have experience using POS, including IMAC Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) projects, as well as project man experience.
You will have a broad understanding of other IT systems that impact POS, as well as experience in documentation and process mapping. Previous experience with supply chain management is desirable. Further to this, you will have excellent communication skills when dealing with stakeholders and external parties.
