Security Manager

Salary: £46000

Location: London, Strand

Monday to Friday

50 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be part of a growing security operation in London. The Security Manager for this contract will be responsible for managing the security provision on behalf of our client who operates within the social media sector reporting directly into the Account Manager. The successful candidate will have proven managerial skills, understand the key risks to the company / local environment and be able to manage multi-stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone to looking to manage their own team and deputise as the account manager.


Main Duties

  • To be the first management point of contact for any security incidents
  • Responsible for scheduling, authorising and planning of staff leave/absence
  • Ensure all staff are customer focused through regular reviews, training and feedback
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the site security systems and provide audits as and when required
  • Ensure all officers are trained in line with contractual and operational requirements
  • Implement changes to processes and procedures as and when required
  • Be risk focused and provide regular risk reviews of the premises and local surroundings
  • Meet the required standards of the SLA and conduct regular customer meetings
  • Manage the ordering of equipment and uniform to maintain levels of service
  • Responsible for recruitment and retention of staff
  • Be focused on innovation and striving for continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders and clients
