Full time licensed security officer holding a current enhanced DBS certificate required for a site near Reading.

The role includes:

· Foot and Vehicle Patrols.

· Monitoring of and response to CCTV, Intruder Detection and Fire Safety systems.

· Access Control – check and challenge for employees, visitors, and contractors

· Escorting Visitors and Contractors

· Maintaining a safe working environment, following our own and client safety protocols.

· Responding to and assisting with Incidents and Emergencies

· Using IT systems and security technology to report activities and incidents.

· Other reasonable security duties as required.

Hours of Work:

Hours of work are day and night shifts that are 12 hours duration. 42-48 hours per week, with a mix of day (0600-1800), and night (1800-0600). Additional paid overtime at £14 per hour on day and night shifts (for example to cover planned leave or sickness) is also available.

Experience and Skills Required:

This role would suit a professional officer looking to build a career long term, with excellent communication skills who enjoys a busy role working with people. Consideration will be given to candidates from alternative backgrounds with appropriate skills and qualifications.

· SIA Security Guarding (SG) and Public Space Surveillance (PSS/CCTV) licenses

· Enhanced DBS check

· Strong Customer Service skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Fluent Written and Spoken English

· Conflict Management Skills – able to remain professional under pressure
