Salary: Circa £27,000 dependent on experience + bonus + benefits

Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – Work pattern subject to shift pattern, consisting of 3 to 4 days of 12 hr shifts - blended as days and nights

Are you a Security professional that would like to be part of a multi-skilled Security Team?

If so then this role based at our world class manufacturing facility, utilising pioneering security systems to safeguard company intellectual property and production hardware could be just for you!

Responsible for the effective physical control of entry, operation and monitoring of all security and safety equipment at our Bolton site, and responding to related incidents.

You'll be operating security systems including Access Control System, CCTV, Radio Communication Systems, Perimeter Intruder Detection systems and various other systems daily.

Working in a highly expert and qualified Security team, working in 12 hour shifts undertaking patrols, securing buildings, operating in a Control Room environment, responding to emergencies and acting as initial incident controller.

• BTEC Level Two (Security) or equivalent (Training will also be provided)
• Ideally First Aid/ Defibrillator Qualified
• Good proven understanding of security/safety processes
• Numerate and IT literate (word/email/PowerPoint/excel) to enable security activities to be carried out
• Good report writing skills
• A willing, helpful attitude and a calm professional manner, when dealing with both internal and external customers
• Be able to undertake the role under challenging circumstances e.g. Emergency situations having the ability to be adaptable when things are changed at the last minute.
• Good at building relationships within the team

You will be joining an established and motivated team responsible for all aspects of physical and procedural Security and the opportunity to work towards the development of skills in Document Registry, Cryptographic Material Control and Electronic Counter Measure roles.
