We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join the Boden team. This role will help drive brand awareness among new 30 something customers on multiple social media platforms, while continuing to engage our existing audience with best-in-class social content for our customers around the world. You will manage 2 x Social Media producers.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the organic Boden Social Media Presence, across platforms, and across WW and CW, but with a focus on Instagram.
  • Managing the 2 x Social Media producers in order to ensure the channels are optimised for business KPIs and able to react to social media trends and moments.
  • Drive the Social Media Strategy alongside the Senior Editorial Manager and Director of Brand Marketing and Content, to achieve Boden’s 3-year objectives.
  • Briefing social-first creative ideas for marketing campaigns and editorial moments, briefing the creative teams to execute them and ensuring they maximise the use of most effective social formats available on each platform.
  • Feeding into paid and brand media briefs to ensure paid and organic content is connected and consistent.
  • Working with others producing social media content (agencies and influencers/creators) to ensure written, video and graphic content is well developed and complies with internal standards and TOV.
  • Measuring, reporting and advising internal stakeholders into social media effectiveness, including performance, format, scheduling, and audience to ensure the most effective approach to achieving social media goals.
  • Taking a leading role building professional relationships with our Social Media Partners (platforms, reporting tools, listening tools etc).
  • Managing social projects from conception through to production, and balancing multiple priorities simultaneously to meet commitments and deadlines.
  • Maintaining awareness of state-of-the-art techniques, equipment, best practices and developments within the design community, with particular focus on social media.
  • Working closely with the PR team to ensure ideas align with launches and adjacent campaigns.
THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Solid experience as a Social Media Expert, with a degree of expertise in fashion or retail.
  • Experience of line management.
  • Good relationships with Social Media Management tools, platforms and agencies.
  • An understanding of how social media can work effectively for a variety of brands with differing personalities and brand goals.
  • The ability to communicate the effectiveness of social media with senior stakeholders across the business.
