For our late-night bar and restaurant in Chelsea, we are currently looking for a skilled Server to take orders, serve food and beverages, and most importantly, create memorable experiences for every single guest in our restaurant. In short: you will be the face and ambassador of The Kings House.

Kings House opened its doors in October 2022, we are a multifaced venue boasting a light airy ground-floor bar, a late-night Loft serving up some of London’s best cocktails and a huge terrace that is perfect for those summer sessions or the winter warmers. Kings house is part of City Group, and you are ultimately joining an amazing company which is all about its people and team development. City groups are expanding and planning on inheriting more sites this year which creates lots of opportunities for you to grow within the company. What will you be doing?

• Prepare the restaurant for our guests; arrange table settings and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
• Greet and escort customers to their tables and take their orders using software on an iPad.
• You will provide customers with recommendations, upsell additional products, answer their questions about the menu and share additional information (ingredients, possible allergies, etc.).
• You will maintain good communication with co-workers at all times and ensure an easy-going, but professional environment.
• You will be responsible to run food and drinks to our guests and maintain their table clean throughout their stay and empty of any plates, cutlery, and others, upon completion of their meal.
• And, as the best things in life don't come for free - you finally deliver the check and make sure the payment transaction takes place.
• You will be working in an environment where communication and teamwork are fundamental.

• You are full of energy and have a positive attitude.
• Our customers are coming from all over the world, so speaking English is required.
• You are flexible in working hours, which means you will also be working during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• We would love it if you had prior experience in a similar role, however, this is not a requirement. Hard work and enthusiasm are equally important!
