Our developers are responsible for the design and implementation of our software; they maintain and develop our client-server application and our extensive suite of tools and plugins. They also work with customers to solve problems and develop new approaches to searching their data.

What you’ll be doing

This is a software development role focusing on the design, implementation and testing of code in a variety of languages (such as Java) within a modern Agile environment. There will be opportunity to learn and contribute to a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.

What you’ll bring

  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or similar?
  • Some experience of programming in Java, C# or C++
  • Enjoy creative problem solving and writing code
  • A clear visual thinker with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn independently and from those around you
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, and on your own
