As an attentive and dedicated Summer placement Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will support the manufacturing engineering team to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions to magnet production challenges. You will be part of a flexible and dynamic environment with the space to stretch beyond your comfort zone to grow both personally and professionally.

Some of the primary areas you can expect to work in a Summer Manufacturing Engineering Intern will include:

• Product Development / Introduction
• Facility development and new test processes
• Quality improvements and waste reductions
• Tooling / Plant development and general process improvements

To apply, you must be studying towards a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics/Electrical, Materials), Manufacturing, or Physics and working towards achieving a 2.1 or above and looking to complete a summer placement as part of your degree. We are looking for interns with:

• Good analytical and communication skills
• Good problem-solving and reasoning skills
• Ability to be a good team player whilst also being able to work independently and be self-motivated
• Ability to technically understand complex manufacturing issues, develop innovative engineering or process solutions and then deploy them, under supervision, to improve the performance of the product or manufacturing facility
