With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games. We are now looking for a Systems Administrator to work onsite at our Guldford office managing our Studio Infrastructure and IT .

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • On-site support for end users
  • Manage and administer the local and global infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and remediate issues impacting server availability
  • Manage backup and storage
  • Manage and maintain monitoring to ensure uptime


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with Windows (Client and Server) and/or Linux OS
  • Strong PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience managing a virtualized infrastructure such as VMWare or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with Google Workplace, Office365, Atlassian Suite
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (WAN,LAN,TCP/IP,VPN,VLAN)


NICE TO HAVES

  • Basic knowledge of public cloud environments like AWS,Azure
  • Experience administering Dell server hardware
  • Experience in automation and deployment tools
  • Experience with version control systems(Git, Perforce)
  • Experience with backup software (Commvault., Veeam, Netbackup)
