Talent Acquisition Executive (also known in other businesses as Recruitment or Resourcing Executive) - based Accrington (hybrid!) - £24-26k p.a. + bonus + many other benefits!
Could you help bring talented people into the Bensons business? We're looking for someone to join our Talent Acquisition team, recruiting for our Retail and Customer Services support business areas. Hybrid role, working Mon/Tues with the team from our Accrington HQ, and the rest can be worked remotely if preferred.


The Role - Talent Acquisition Executive

Working within a specialist TA function as part of the wider HR team, this is a key role working with our Retail and Customer Service Support hiring managers, to attract candidates to work in our wide network of retail stores and for our customer contact centre and HQ. Full job description available on request, but to summarise, key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end to end cycle of your vacancy caseload from initial recruitment authorisation to candidate onboarding, across your given business areas
  • Advertising approved vacancies on various media platforms and selecting the appropriate methods of advertising, contributing new ideas to the team to reach different candidate markets
  • Proactively sourcing candidates by reaching out on job board CV databases or networking platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Keeping on top of market conditions for key roles, benchmarking salaries and reporting on weekly vacancy progress
  • Providing strong administrative support across the process, ensuring legal compliance and adhering to Bensons policies and procedures, ensuring hiring managers are obtaining the necessary 'right to work' ID and taking sufficient interview notes
  • Being a brand ambassador and confident to represent the department at cross functional meetings, or represent the company at events such as recruitment fairs or other careers events.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes to be effective and succeed in this role. Does this sound like you?

  • Previous experience of working within a recruitment capacity with strong communication and administrative skills and effective stakeholder management.
  • Devoted to providing a great candidate experience and presenting a professional approach in all your correspondence and communications, with accuracy, attention to detail and excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Driven to managing your own workload and able to work collaboratively with the wider team on other projects, using your IT skills to report on progress and promote roles across social media and use our ATS to it's full functionality
  • Daring to try new things to keep moving the function forward and reach new audiences with our employer brand and get involved in cross functional projects and activities for your own personal development.
  • Occasional requirement to travel to other Bensons sites for which fuel costs would be reimbursed, therefore own transport would be preferred.
