As the Technical Business Analyst you’ll be part of the Value Creation team, one of the workstreams within the E-commerce area of Digital Sales. E-commerce is the key growth channel for our business and we’re accountable for delivering sales revenue targets for Virgin Media O2, spanning Cable acquisition and Mobile acquisition/upgrade. The Value Creation team is focussed on building new features to improve the Cable acquisition journey and increase the overall conversion rate. We’re looking to make a step-change with innovative thinking and learning from best-in-class players outside our industry to transform our journeys

The role of the Technical Business Analyst is to support in the delivery of each initiative, drawing out key technical details and identifying areas of improvement through analytical thinking and problem solving. You’ll be delving into the detail to understand business impacts and technical detail and communicating these clearly to our engineers, delivery team and stakeholders. You’ll assist in all aspects of delivery and be able to link this to benefit realisation and where necessary in planning/ideation. This will be an instrumental role as part of relatively new team. You’ll report into the Senior Product Owner and help them and the Delivery Managers to oversee full delivery of our strategy and goals.

You’ll be doing all this:

Capture the business goals and objectives within each initiative and ensure the plan to reach these is broken down into doable tasks

Align with the Sales Tech Lead and Delivery Managers to analyse and capture Technology/CIO requirements, integration points and dependencies

Identify the deliverables needed and facilitate estimates
-
Produce requirement documentation to a high standard for internal teams and key stakeholders, including Jira stories and provide requirements via this platform

Analyse technical documentation and provide delivery teams with relevant and useful detail to deliver requirements

Support in analysing relevant data/reporting to identify opportunities and where we can link initiatives to benefits

Ensure that impacts can be accurately measured and work with other teamsto identify and set up reporting

Identify and work with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and alignment
-
Manage requirements throughout the delivery, ensuring effective scope control and solution compliance to requirements

Review deliverables and provide constructive feedback.

Liaise with relevant teams such as IT or third parties where there are delivery dependencies

Monitor project progress and address potential issues

Contribute to continual improvement to quality and best practice

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong working experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Jira

Must have a resilient character and be able to handle adversity effectively

Strong technical background and understanding
-
Comfortable operating at pace and with ambiguity, able and willing to pivot where necessary
