We are currently seeking a Van driver to join our amazing transport team at Simarco International Ltd!

Position:

Day to Day Role

• Delivery and collection of customers’ freight as assigned by the Transport Office to and from various locations and regions.
• Multi-drop delivery and collections that may involve some home deliveries (B2C).
• Supervise the loading of your vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Ensure the correct goods and quantity of goods are loaded and unloaded.
• Plan you day and route in the most cost and operationally effective manner.
• Present, process and return customers Delivery Notes.
• Secure and return Proof of Delivery advice notes (POD) electronic and/or manual.
• Inform the Transport Office of any delays to or whilst at work
• Maintain your vehicle (inside and out) in a clean and very tidy condition.
• Greet all customers you meet in a polite and helpful manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Refuel your vehicle daily in accordance with Company Procedure.

Requirements:

Experience / Skills

• Class B Licence
• Experience of multi drop delivery driving

Working Hours

Basic 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

• £24,570 per annum (EIRO £28,000 PER ANNUM)
