An exciting opportunity has arisen as Beamish Museum is looking to recruit a number of posts within our Entrance Team. At Beamish Museum, we focus on putting the visitor first at the heart of everything we do and the Entrance Team plays an integral part of the visitor experience.

We are looking for passionate people who are committed to delivering outstanding levels of customer service in a busy environment. The Entrance Team is the first point of contact for our visitors and plays an essential part in the day to day running of the museum. From engaging with first time visitors to welcoming back long standing members, and assisting with general enquiries, the Entrance Team is an exciting, fast paced environment where no two days are the same!

Beamish, the Living Museum of the North is a multi award-winning museum which puts people and the communities we serve at the heart of everything we do. It was founded in 1970 and holds important collections preserving the social, industrial and agricultural heritage of the region which are brought to life across a 350 acre site.

The museum is self-sustaining with a large diverse audience. We rely upon talented people who are able to demonstrate exceptional skills and personal characteristics to deliver the outstanding and immersive experience we offer to visitors.
