Helix Operations has the following vacancy: Warehouse Picker and Packer Operative

Helix Operations provides access solutions worldwide for security, defence, and rescue operations. We supply equipment, systems and training to enable clients to work with speed, ease, and safety when accessing objectives across a wide range of environments; mountain, urban or maritime.

Warehouse Operative

This is a hands-on role; the successful candidate will be hardworking and efficient with the ability to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner. You will be a team player within a small but busy warehouse. It is essential that you are self-motivated with a positive and proactive approach, with the ability of working under pressure.

Key Tasks

• Pick, pack, and label products in preparation for dispatch to meet customer demands.
• Ensure the appropriate paperwork is completed accurately.
• Handling, monitoring, and controlling of stock.
• Housekeeping duties, help to maintain clean and tidy work areas.

Essential to your success in the role will be the ability to demonstrate

• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages on a regular basis.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately and consistently.
• Computer literate with good numerical skills.
• The ability to prioritize and meet customer deadlines.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• To work quickly, always maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Self- motivated, initiative, and high energy levels.

Desirable

• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience of stocktaking.
• Knowledge of export packing requirements

Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
