We’re looking for a web designer with a visual design degree and a minimum of 2 years experience since graduation working in an agency or in a freelance capacity. The candidate should have a portfolio of web designs.

The position

We’re looking for someone who is both creative & disciplined with a down to earth character. Candidates will be expected to originate creative concepts and also willing to be guided if and work to tight briefs. You will be reporting to the creative director who is hoping to spend more time running the business and needs someone to take over the creative lead. There will be plenty of variety in the role as we tend to work on small but beautifully designed brochure websites and not on large scale projects.

We would like someone who..

• is fluent in Figma & Adobe Creative Suite
• has 2 years minimum experience working in a design/branding agency
• has good knowledge of CSS & HTML
• has great typographic and layout skills
• is able to manage clients including writing briefs, site map planning, presenting digital designs, bringing the digital brand to life, attending review meetings and achieving sign off.
• can brief developers and oversee the build of sites
• has experience working with WordPress. Ability to build sites using themes is also welcome.
