Business Analyst - Homeworker

Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable Business Analyst to join our team on a Remote basis. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits.

As our Business Analyst, you will support the development and deployment of new solutions with business analysis to gather business requirements.

Your responsibilities as our Business Analyst will include:

• Undertaking requirements gathering and documentation required to support specific work initiatives and facilitate process mapping of as is and to be processes to support the requirements documentation
• Maintaining a library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets
• Reviewing technical design documentation with IT Stream Lead to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions
• Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis with the ability to work in mixed Waterfall and Agile delivery environment
• Supporting the creation of Target Operating Models (TOMs) for discrete business domains and functions, using BFS Business Leads knowledge and guidance
• Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, abstracting up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs
• Driving and challenging business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs
• Supporting Senior Business Analysts (International Process Optimization Managers) on Assigned Projects

What we are looking for in our ideal Business Analyst:

• Degree in Business Administration, engineering, or data scientist with experience of at least 3 years within a consulting firm, industry or government organisation
• Knowledge of working with a Product Owner, helping to refine and prioritise items in a backlog
• Experience working on large, complex projects with Project Managers, external suppliers/scrum teams
• Proven track record of eliciting and delivering business requirements, business process design and functional design on change projects
• Analytical & technical mindset, strong ability to solve problems, metrics-driven and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude paired with a good portion of curiosity and a customer-centric service attitude
• Fluent English is required. Additional languages are a plus
