Clinical Waste Driver Operative – Borders General Hospital

Band 2

Permanent

37.50 hours


We currently require a clinical waste driver operative to join the Facilities Team at Borders General Hospital in Melrose.

This role is to provide an NHS Borders wide service in the collection of clinical and special waste from hospitals, health centres, clinics, private contractors and private dwelling premises. Delivering all to the waste station within Borders General Hospital.

The role also includes ensuring all waste is secured and ready for uplift by the waste contractor(s)

Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of competence in driving, be able to use own initiative, good time management skills are required and have a knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.
