What the role has to offer:
Our Opportunity
You will be responsible for defining the data science and advanced analytics requirements and use cases, creating data exploitation models, recommending tool selection and working closely with UK business leads to create insight and value from our data.
Your role in the Digital and Data Function will play a pivotal role in planning, executing and delivering advanced data analytics and scenario modelling. The bulk of the work will focus on data functional use case capture, building models, problem analysis, data exploration and data collection and integration.
You will be responsible for understanding and analysing data across the enterprise looking for data exploitation use cases to add business value. Additionally you will build use cases into pilot’s and MVP’s to create data products. You will work with all members of the Digital team once a business use case has been defined to build the data model and analysis of data for value identification, storytelling, predictive modelling and exploitation opportunities.
You will also use the agreed Data Management processes to capture business and functional ways of working improvements through data. As well as, undertake Cost benefit analysis and return on investment. You will help maintain the integrity and security of the company data. In addition to that you will use of Enterprise search toolsets to build data analysis models working directly with the business or functional SME.
