Skills and Requirements:

· Load, transport and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.

· Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.

· Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.

· Provide excellent customer service, answering questions.

· Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules.

· Abide by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.

· Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

· Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

· Experience may be required or preferred.

· Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.

· Strong time management and customer service skills.

· Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.

· Attention to detail.

· Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Clean driving record

Tasks:

· Ensuring customer satisfaction/providing excellent customer service

· Performing safety checks on delivery vehicles/performing a vehicle inspection on delivery vans

· Following delivery routes/predetermined routes

· Coordinating activities with Food Delivery Drivers

· Maintaining a clean valid driver’s license

· Deliver products/deliver items!

· Ensuring delivery vehicles remain in good condition.

· Loading and unloading vehicles

· Using excellent communication skills

· Maintaining professional competence

· Improving knowledge of local streets/identifying the best routes

· Remaining physically fit

· Supporting the production process in between delivery & collection schedules

Qualifications and Education:

· At least two GCSEs

· Relevant Driver Certificate

Preferred Experience:

Working in roles such as Courier, Van Driver or Warehouse Worker previously.

Hours:

7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday

7:30am - 2:30pm Friday

Job Type: Full-time
