Are you currently working in a warehouse environment or as a driver’s mate? Do you enjoy being active and working as a 2-person team? We are looking for flexible Drivers Mates to join us at our site in Darlington on a permanent basis.

You will be supporting us with one of our contracts working on the day shift. The role involves multi drop deliveries to customer at various locations. This is a very varied contract, so it gives you the chance to do something different every day. You will be working Monday to Friday and in return for your hard work, we will offer you a competitive hourly rate of £12.00

Overtimes at £18.00

The role is PAYE and based on a guaranteed 50-hour week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• 
  Making deliveries to commercial properties and putting products into a specified room

• You will be working in partnership with the same driver each day

• You will know your work pattern weeks in advance

• Full manual handling training will be given

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• 
  You must be physically fit as the deliveries can be a little heavy

• Previous experience would be great for this role, although full training can be given

• You will be working at customers sites making complex deliveries so must have previous experience in customer facing roles

• Must have driving licence
