Based in London, you will be part of the London key city marketing team. This team will be accountable for:

  • Humanising our brand through our partnerships with Clubs & Athletes.
  • Engaging members 365 with focus on activity (movement), connections (relationships), and purpose – optimising key membership KPIs and bringing the magic of Nike to life on the ground for the members who love us the most
  • Owning targeted brand extensions that amplify our brand narrative through clubs and athletes.

We are looking for a talented brand marketeer with a passion for football, a curiosity for our young consumer, and an ability to uncover stories that will inspire the next generation to move. A marketeer with a drive to reimagine the future of football, with ambitious and original ideas on how to leverage the Nike Football Clubs, Federations and Athletes Portfolio. An individual with a curiosity about digital marketing and focus on serving Nike Members and football fans personally, but at scale.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a London Sport Performance Specialist (Clubs) you will be a part of the London Brand Management function, reporting directly to the London Sport Performance Marketing Manager. In this role your core duties will include:

  • Working closely with the Football marketing team and external stakeholders to deliver regular and innovative marketing activity across and with our clubs, federations, leagues and athletes.
  • Identifying new opportunities within Nike Football to fuel the Nike membership marketing engine and reward our most engaged audience/ fans with the magic that only Nike can bring to life.
  • Collaborating with the EMEA Consumer Construct Marketing team to meet targeted Nike Football EMEA briefs, specifically seasonal kit launches.
  • Gathering structured and continuous consumer & member insights to allow us to better serve members on the ground in London, to feed back to EMEA/Global in order to help longer-term & seasonal Nike Football concepts.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role reports directly into the London Sport Performance Marketing Manager, working alongside the full city marketing team as well as cross-functionally with the Clubs & Feds Business Directors, Nike Sports Marketing, and Social & Community impact teams. Collectively you will build and execute the Nike Football marketing strategy in London.

Partner closely with external club representatives to align, improve and elevate the marketing opportunities across the full Nike Football asset portfolio.

The shape of your day-to-day work will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You are consistently collaborative and open to the opinions and expertise of those you engage with, while being willing to voice your own point of view in service of our consumer.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

A successful candidate will be encouraged to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements in order to be considered.


Essential requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing or partnership management.
  • Prior experience in the marketing areas of either brand management or athlete/partnership management
  • A proven track record of support in execution of cross-functional marketing campaigns
  • Proven experience managing external relationships – ideally in sport with individuals and organisations

Advantageous experience:

  • Prior experience working with organisations, governing bodies or athletes.
  • Track record of identifying sporting moments with marketing potential.
  • Knowledge of Football Commercial landscape.

Core Functional Competencies:

  • Modern Consumerist - Ensure our consumers are at the forefront of everything we do in the city
  • Brand Management - Timely and effective delivery of Marketing Plans through extensive cross-functional collaboration
  • Digital Mindset - Work closely with the team to execute the brand plan to drive member KPI’s, brand and business growth to be defined through CFE goal setting.
  • Direct Marketing knowledge/experience is preferred.
