The post holder will join the Executive Office to provide outstanding administrative support to the Pro-Director (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) and Director (Human Resources) and members of their senior teams. They will have excellent organisation and interpersonal skills and able to command the trust and confidence of a range of stakeholders including external and senior stakeholders. The ability to think ahead and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills is essential, as is the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and a challenging workload. The post holder will have an interest in the Higher Education sector with a commitment to making a positive impact.
The post holder will have proven and extensive experience of supporting a senior executive, including experience of organising and streamlining the workload and timetable of a busy senior professional. Experience of diary management and effective prioritisation techniques is also essential.
The post is full time (35 hours per week), and a permanent contract.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale Grade 5 in the range £36,438 - £41,829 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine’s Keppel Street office.
