Tomorrow’s finance legends learn from the best
Do you want to learn how to transform a business? Want to understand how we make data-driven decisions? If your future is in finance, then apply for our internship. Because it’s never too soon to think about your future legacy.
On this ten-week programme, you’ll join one of our technical, commercial or operational areas to do hands-on work and gain insights into what drives a high-performance retail business like ours. You’ll be part of a team who partner, engage and collaborate internationally, elevating our operations and transforming M&S into a leaner, more effective industry leader.
Gain an insight into what drives our commercial performance and get to grips with our tools, processes and governance which all enable the business to make decisions through data. You’ll also find out how we use our digital capabilities to evolve our business. Explore what it takes to adapt to an ever-changing consumer landscape and keep up with the incredible pace at which our business moves.
While you’ll be working in a particular area, we’ll make sure you get to see how the other parts of Finance team work and how we contribute to the wider business. We’ll also give you an insight into M&S as a whole. As such, this is a unique opportunity to work with people right across our business, while actively helping us make the best possible financial decisions.
Legends are made, not born – so we’ll invest in your soft skills development and help you understand a bit more about yourself. You’ll come away with greater skills, knowledge and insight into what a career in Finance could look like once you graduate.
You don’t need a specific degree to apply for this programme, but you’ll need a passion for retail, a taste for numbers and an interest in business.
