As a decorative print, wall art and art provider, Silian Gallery’s global network of artistic partners and in-house design team work with industry-leading interior design studios, art consultants, and international procurement firms to deliver art design and production services for reputable hospitality brands and private residences globally - proudly servicing clients such as Waldorf Astoria, JW Marriott, Banyan Tree, Jumeriah, and Sheraton Group.

Freelance Artist/Graphic Designer/Illustrator

We are currently expanding our London in-house creative team, looking for illustrators and digital artists who have experience creating art and imagery using digital tablets.

As we work with interior design studios, art consultants, hospitality and property clients, and furnishing retailers, the type of wall art, prints, and products we offer vary by client and project. we expect applicants to support us in creating unique artwork and prints that can successfully respond to inbound client briefs, deliver convincing creative proposals, as well as expand our artwork collection to drive retail sales.

Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Creating artwork (mostly digitally) accordingly to client briefs and/or
• Creating artwork that responds to market trends and preferences, in so strengthens our in-house collection to drive bid and sales success
• Good range of different artistic styles
• Regularly brainstorm with production and management teams new/unique art techniques
• Be scheduled to work on a wide variety of projects simultaneously and deliver at tight schedules

This role will be freelance, with the potential to develop into a full-/part-time role if suitable. We prefer you to work in the office.

About you:

- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustrations or a related field (not essential but preferred)

- Applicants with demonstrated creative abilities and experience also welcomed to apply

- The ability to work efficiently and to quick deadlines

- The ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects

- Experience in using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator is essential

- Experience in using modelling software i.e. CAD, Rhino, Sketchup is huge plus

- Positive and helpful attitude with a drive to gain experience in growing business
