About the Role

This role will be based in a hybrid/remote working capacity, and we are fully supportive of flexible working arrangements.

As a Graduate Consultant, you will be part of one of the most exciting and fast-moving organisations, that helps thousands of companies realise innovation, by optimising their processes, from planning and development, through manufacturing, production, and support.

Once on board, you will be part of a close-knit team of dedicated and professional consultants, working to understand the needs of our customers and translate them into live technical solutions that deliver real value. You’ll learn the best design, development, integration, and testing practices, whilst gaining insight into how our software solutions can add value to our customers’ business.

For the first six months you will receive intensive training to learn about the business, portfolio of industry leading software solutions and our customers. It includes hands on technical training, experience in real customer projects and teamworking projects, all supported by a dedicated experienced mentor. At the end of this period, you will be able to hit the ground running as a Consultant within our busy Customer Outcomes team – a great start to your long term career with Siemens Industry Software.

What's important to remember is that you'll be working on real projects for real clients. You will build knowledge and understanding, then apply what you've learned to develop innovative and effective IT solutions for businesses.

Area of Responsibility

  • Ownership of aspects of the solution delivery including agile change and risk management at pace direct with the customer
  • Understanding the context of an internal or customer project and its key work
  • Supporting the generation of relevant project documentation in line with Project Management Methodology
  • Supporting the review of technical implementation experiences with project delivery team
  • Installing and undertaking simple configuration of PLM products
  • Supporting the data migration activities for legacy data and systems
  • Providing support for basic unit testing activities and participate under guidance in system testing and user acceptance testing activities
  • Supporting the development and delivery of integration with other systems
  • Supporting customer adoption of the solution

About You

  • A recent graduate that may have already started a role and is ready for their next career step
  • Curious and willing to work on a range of established software products which are constantly pushing technology boundaries
  • Integrity and passion for IT and new challenges
  • An agile mind and drive to find groundbreaking solutions
  • Analytical, highly numerate, resilient, self-disciplined, and flexible with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree qualified ideally in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management
