As a Healthcare Assistant you will join the team in the Orthopaedic Trauma Unit, Ward 2B at University Hospital Crosshouse, with orthopaedic demand increasing and Ward 2B transitioning from trauma/high care ward into a dedicated hip fracture ward, admitting the most complex and dependant trauma patients not transferred to the major trauma unit.

You will have have excellent communication and organisational skills that can excel in a highly pressured environment in order to collaborate with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring the patient journey is positive and safe care is delivered in a manner which is person centred.
