IT Business Analyst – Commercial Systems

Purpose:
This role will help drive the Finance and Commercial requirements of the business functions, emphasising an approach based on quality, collaboration and agility.
What you'll be doing:
Developing a sound knowledge of relevant business areas within the Premier Foods organisation and the effect of the requested changes
LiaisIng with key stakeholders, business managers and users to understand and document business requirements across business areas affected by a change need
Working with business owners and Premier Foods IT Business Partners & Solution Architects to develop optimal solutions
Developing complete and accurate business models including process, data and organisation documentation
Delivering and presenting a quality business requirements document for a given change need, to the Project Sponsor, the IT Leadership Team and the Planning Board
Supporting the continuous innovation, development, governance & support of business processes and systems including the key SAP areas for agreed remit
Driving & promoting engagement between IT, Business users & customers
Working with the Senior Commercial BP to achieve aligned strategy between business and IT
More specifically:
Demand Management
Primary point of contact to the business for all functions across the Group, & UKBU.
Assist in the development and management of a strategy which reflects and supports the overall business agenda.
Ensure business partners understanding of business information systems and services and influence and collaborate in decision making processes that relate to those operational areas
Engage early project opportunity discussions and provide project management and business analysis capabilities
Agree and deliver projects / enhancement requests with Solutions Architects & Business Partners
Responsible for ensuring business cases support project goals to enable prioritisation
Attend the key management meetings within the business to align IT and business demands
Provide Project Management for agreed initiatives to Premier IT PMO Standards
Business Analysis, Process & Change Management
Work with business owners from relevant business areas to understand current processes, document and prioritise requirements, ensure best practice & consistency across the portfolio
Identify, plan, lead and implement process improvement initiatives that realise the goals of the IT team & wider business
Works to improve effectiveness of business information provision with IT Business Partners & Business Teams
Design and develop optimal processes and best practices in Master Data & Data Management
Support the Business process teams established in the organisation
Help realise Premier’s business, functional, and data compliance requirements
Solutions Development
Collaborate with IT and Business Leadership to develop and implement solutions which reflects and supports the business agenda
Where required analyse business problems and provide recommendations & reporting solutions
Ensure our business reporting reflects the demand of the business
Systems & Data Governance
Define and enforce data standards and procedures
Collaborates with other IT professionals to deliver shared technology solutions
Drive the function’s adoption strategy with regards to people, process and technology solutions
Ensure the appropriate governance when utilising third parties
Assist Service during Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes when required
What we need from you:
Experience of delivering SAP & Information based projects
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly visible environment
Proven track record in I.T. delivery
Consumer Products Industry experience
