National World is seeking ambitious, driven candidates who have a proven track record in digital advertising sales.

We are one of the UKs largest multimedia organisations providing up-to-date and trusted news coverage to our local communities via our flagship website’s Sussex World and The News. We also publish many local print titles and have a portfolio of events that the successful candidate will be selling across.

The role is home based but you will be attending face 2 face meetings with clients and team meet-ups in our local offices across Sussex & Hampshire. Knowledge of the local geography and demographic will be key to working successfully with businesses across our target areas.

Responsibilities:

• Customer acquisition, growth, retention & development across our media landscape
• Focused on ROI for our customers advertising campaigns
• Sales via face 2 face and video meetings, telephone and email
• Ability to develop, nurture and close new business opportunities
• Account management & effective pipeline management
• Meet and exceed revenue targets
• Educate customers in new media products and propositions

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Previous digital sales experience is essential (advertising a big advantage)
• Target driven, passionate with a consultative sales approach
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proactive and flexible approach
• Enthusiastic, ambitious, positive, creative and innovative
• Team player with effective communication skills

We offer a competitive salary (dependent on experience) with generous commission. You will receive 26 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a flexible approach which includes remote working.
