Sketch is an award winning digital web and marketing studio based in the heart of Birmingham. We deliver cutting-edge digital experiences, from branding through to websites, apps, digital design and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the development and execution of digital marketing assets with a healthy understanding of different social media platforms, their unique audiences and creative requirements.
• Create, develop and edit premium platform-specific content with a focus on innovative, compelling storytelling to drive growth, community engagement and ultimately, conversions.
• Collaborate closely with our marketing department, while sitting within the design team.
• Work with other internal design and creative teams to contribute to concepts, briefs and strategies.
• Analyse social media design trends and anticipate opportunities (e.g. adopting new platform features early, TikTok trends etc.)
• Work across multiple projects at the same time and be able to produce high standards of finished work in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience working within a design-related field, preferably with a digital marketing focus (agency, brand or freelance).

Exceptional portfolio.

• Strong understanding of typography, colour and layout; and of how photo, video and graphics can be used to tell stories.
• Skills within original content creation such as photography or video would be highly desirable but not a deal breaker.
• Strong sense of initiative, a collaborative spirit and an ability to work independently.
• Know how to develop visual direction and concepts for advertising campaigns.

Strong experience with design applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects (or similar).

• A passion for innovation and discovering the latest digital trends and technologies.
