My client is seeking an experienced Operations Director for an expanding Build to Rent (BTR) property company.

The company is a UK focused fully integrated real estate investor, developer and operator with a Build-to-Rent residential portfolio of almost 4,000 homes. The full-service platform acquires, develops, manages, and operates high quality rental homes across the UK. The business is focused on delivering and operating Build-to-Rent residential housing that is purposely designed and professionally managed for their residents and one that residents feel proud to call home, with kind and welcoming in-house staff. Each property offers flexibility that enables tenants to achieve their lifestyle aspirations, whilst reflecting the culture and connection of their local community.

The company’s ambition is to become the UK’s leading specialist manager of Build -to-Rent residential communities across the UK.

The Role

The Operations Director is a national role operating across the UK and has responsibility for leading the operational activities for my client's BTR portfolio. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role oversees the management of the operational resources within the community teams to deliver operational excellence and compliance, maximise productivity and to exceed stretching financial targets.

Location

This is a national role with travel involved across all community locations (currently Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Salford and Sheffield). The client's Head Office is on the outskirts of Oxford and the successful candidate will need to be within a reasonable distance of the south east of Oxford city centre.
