Job Title: Sales Development intern
Location: London (hybrid)
Reports to: Senior Manager Sales Development
Term: 6 month fixed term contract
Position Description
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-growing company and learn first-hand if a Career in the SaaS space is for you. Do well and “the Sky is the Limit”.
The goal of the sales development team is to generate and secure sales opportunities and pass them to the field sales team. As a sales development intern you will develop professional sales skills to investigate prospective clients’ company structure, industry positioning, and other relevant information. You will capture this information in our database from where it will be shared with our field sales team.
We provide a structured training program that will not only develop your sales skills but give you exposure to other departments such as marketing and customer success.
A Typical Day Might Include the Following:
Generating new business opportunities through lead follow-up and prospecting potential customers by making calls from existing customer lists. Participating in other lead generation campaigns as defined by management.
Managing contacts by logging leads and sales and marketing interactions in our software tool.
Developing your knowledge of Conga products and services.
Interacting with your territory sales team and attending meetings and trainings.
Building relationships with various Stakeholders and cross functional team members to drive internal brand and awareness.
Cleansing data in our CRM
To Land This Gig You'll Need:
To be available 36 hours per week for 6 months
At least 6 months’ work experience in a sales or customer service role.
A keen interest in Software sales.
