We are looking for a SecurityOfficer to work at one of our client sites based in Leicester. Our client is one of the largest retail and commercial banks based in the UK. Within this role, you will always portray the company's values and provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible to preserve an environment where employees; visitors and property are safe and well protected.

Within this role it is important to be professional, alert visible and be a commanding security presence. You will need to report any security incidents or faults to your manager and deal with emergencies including initial alerts and evacuations in line with site procedures. You will need to learn and be fully conversant with the layout of the building being aware of the current threats and challenges faced by the site. You will need to be aware of the local 'Points of Interest', arterial road routes in and out of the location and have a good knowledge of the transport hubs that support the local area.

You will carry out duties including patrolling the site, maintaining log occurrences, maintain and complete written accounts of all incidents, provide initial response to any events, identify any suspicious behaviour, provide first aid response and any other duties required from you.

We are looking for an honest individual who treats our customers with integrity and respect, providing a visual presence and reassurance to both staff and visitors. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be approachable when interacting with employees and visitors.

• 56 hours per week - 21 day rolling rota, 0700 to 1900 and 1900 to 0700

Essential Skills

• SIA Licence
• Excellent customer engagement skills with excellent verbal and communication skills
• High level of attention to detail, timekeeping, and ability to prioritise time effectively
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
