We have a superb opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic and proven leader to join Aston University’s Campus Safety (formerly security) portfolio.

As Team Leader you will directed by the Head of Security, through the Security Operations Manager to supervise a team of 5 Campus safety officers to protect users of the Aston University campus and their property, as well as prevent damage to or loss of University assets. you will ensure as far as possible that the campus is a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate for this role will have:

The ability to make key decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

A current Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence (Door supervisor / CCTV operator / Close Protection) or a willingness to satisfactory complete the training and gain certification as a condition of employment.

Proven track record of delivering superb service to customers, including complaint resolution.

Understand and willing to work the shift pattern (two day, two nights and four rest days) which includes weekends and bank holidays.

For this role, you will be required to wear branded uniform (supplied) including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure that your teams are dressed appropriately in line with their role.

This role requires and enhanced DBS check.
